OUR MISSION —

Inspire the policy and funding necessary to save coral reefs through a global show of support

We know what we need to do to save coral reefs: we need to protect them from local threats such as overfishing and pollution, whilst we rapidly address the global threat of climate change.

Some reefs are less vulnerable to climate change due to their locations. Through targeted action, we can not only help them survive, but also use them to rapidly repopulate other reefs.

The problem isn’t knowing what to do. It is the lack of awareness and support that’s leading to inaction. Coral reef conservation doesn’t get the prioritization it needs and warrants.

However, as we’ve seen with ocean plastics, a creative show of public support can rapidly lead to funding and policy action. This is our mission.

OUR VISION —

Let’s be the first generation to save an entire ecosystem

Forget all the doom and gloom. Let’s start thinking positively. We can be the first generation to actually save a global ecosystem instead of losing one.

Other generations have saved single species before, but saving coral reefs could save up to a million species at once and take our ability to protect nature to a completely new level.

Polls have shown that there is overwhelming public support for greater action. Using creativity to highlight this support and make sure it’s seen by leaders around the world, means we can rapidly turn public opinion into action.
